OBJECTIVE:
The Plan for Consolidation and Competitiveness of the Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) is focused on several operational fields included in two basic groups of measures: the total integration of the SME in the Information Society and the establishment of innovative management techniques.

Intermediate Organisms.
Small & Medium Enterprises in the industrial, construction and service sectors.

ACTIVITIES GRANTED:
Information Society: Grants for projects aimed at the SME integration in the Information Society ociedad de la información:

• Improvement of production processes, commercialisation, information and management in the SME through the establishment of communication and information technologies.
• Support the establishment and utilisation of telematics services 

 Innovation in management techniques: Stimulate and support the projects aimed at the establishment of an innovative culture through the following action lines nnovación en técnicas empresariales:

• Design 
• Inter-firm co-operation network.
  Quality systems
• Process innovation: Management.

GRANT AMOUNT:
The amount is 55% of the equivalent net grant that is the benefit provided to the firm by the grant once the corporation tax has been deducted.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION:
Grant for the period 2001-2006. Deadline: 1º Quarter every year (until the 31 of March). Chance of opening an application period different to the previous one.
